Call talk radio shows
to let listeners know what you think. Getting Democratic voices onto the conservative-controlled airwaves is a must. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) gives you the numbers to call and talking points to use. Or, if you have a favorite local radio show, call it, and then
let us know about it so we can recommend the show to others.
Devote a half-hour at your desk
Write letters
to media across the country- the perfect way to express approval of or disdain for the news and views of the day. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) makes it simple. To get issue specific talking points: click on an issue, then enter your zip code. Your letter is emailed automatically.
Devote an hour at a computer
Make Calls anytime, anywhere as long
as you have access to the internet and a phone. Use
Moveon.org's phone
program to call voters in crucial districts all across the country. You can
make one or one hundred calls, and take breaks as often as you like. Their
program is user-friendly and proven to work, so get started today.
Devote an evening
Call voters from the
O'Malley for Governor
campaign office and enjoy pizza too. The campaign runs phone
banks Mon-Thurs from 6-8:30 PM. Call 301-340-8332 to sign up. Or, make
phone calls from the heart of it all with the
Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) every Wed & Thurs

experience necessary- both orgs provide lists and scripts.
Devote an early morning
Pass out literature at Metro stations with the
O'Malley for Governor
campaign and then hop the train to work or back home to sleep.
Volunteers are out from 7:30-9 AM most mornings. Call 301-340-8332 to

Devote a couple weekday hours
Make phone calls for as long as you like at any time of
day. Jim Webb's campaign to
unseat George Allen runs phone banks Monday-Friday from 10AM-9PM.

necessary- the campaign happily trains you and provides materials.

Devote a Saturday or Sunday
Talk face-to-face with voters in key swing districts to
voice your support for Jim Webb.
The campaign runs canvasses in many different areas every Saturday and
Sunday.
